 Geri Swingle

Geri is a Christian Life Coach, LifePlan Facilitator, Speaker, Women's Ministry Consultant and Instructor.  She received her training and certifications from Life Purpose Coaching Centers, International.  In 2005, Geri launched her own life coaching ministry for women called WholeWoman Ministry (www.wholewomanministry.com).  In 2007, Geri co-founded The Retreat at Hidden Treasure in Durango, Colorado with her husband Ron.  WholeWoman Ministry is now a ministry of The Retreat at Hidden Treasure.

Geri has over twenty years of experience in coaching/training roles, working with women of all ages. Before narrowing her focus to Life Coaching, she played the role of coach/trainer as an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer with her own business for over a decade.  In this role, she helped women and couples realize their fitness goals by designing and implementing customized fitness programs.  Because she worked with each client one-on-one in their homes, she was able to develop a relationship with them and often got beyond their fitness goals to minister to their spiritual needs.

During her tenure as a trainer, she also served as an advisory board member of a Christian jewelry company. Remember Me Jewelry, Inc. markets Greek and Hebrew symbols through the internet, mall kiosks, catalogs, and Christian event sales. In addition, she enjoyed the opportunities to work at events and partake in what God is doing through the message of the scripture-based jewelry.

Geri also held the position of Director of Prevention Education at the Crisis Pregnancy Center, in which she trained, coached and led a team of teens who spoke to their peers throughout the local school system on the benefits of abstinence before marriage.

Prior to that, she worked as a Peer Counselor at the Crisis Pregnancy Center.  In this role, she coached and assisted young mothers-to-be with their functional and emotional needs during a critical time in their lives.

In all of these positions, Geri was able to hone my communication and people skills with women of all ages. God has truly taken me from Prevention Trainer to Personal Trainer to Purpose Trainer!”
