Our Board

Toni Fammartino

Toni brings over 20 years of experience from her various roles in non-profit leadership including Department Chair, President, Chairman and Trustee. These roles were in a number of local organizations such as the Cultural Center for the Arts, Canton Country Day School, Stark County Medical Society Auxiliary and Family Services. In all of these ventures, Toni has demonstrated her ability and passion to support those in need.

Toni has also spearheaded a number of fundraising events. She’s been the Chair of the Development Committee for the Chairedible Fundraiser which raised $225,000 for the Family Services organization. Family Services, now called Trillium, provides an array of counseling, psychiatric and care solutions to children and adults in need from the community. She also Co-Chaired the Silent Auction Display for a local high school. And, she developed and Co-Chaired the Great Escapes Fundraiser.

For the past 15 years, Toni has also been a volunteer with the Medical Ministry International team which provides eye surgery and care via short term mission trips to those in need in the Honduras, Ecuador, Jamaica, Myanmar and Colombia. These mission trips hold a special place in her heart as she is privileged to literally be present when “the blind see”.

Toni has a love for music and is an accomplished pianist. She completed the Franz Liszt International Master Class in Budapest in 2000. She was also a former elementary music teacher.

Toni has been married to Joe for 36 years and they raised 3 outstanding daughters. She will spend approximately 1 to 2 hours per month on RAHT business, attending Board meetings, reviewing reports, and providing Board-level oversight.

Jeff Jernigan

As an ordained minister, missionary, licensed counselor, and human resources professional, Jeff has pursued bringing the best out in people and organizations for more than thirty years. This success has been recognized by numerous awards including national recognition for excellence in change management and business practices.

Jeff has served in executive roles in business and ministry working in thirty-eight countries around the world creating or co-founding the Hidden Value Group, LLC, Peopleworks International Incorporated™, Olive Branch International, and Life Purpose Coaching Centers International® where he continues to serve as President for the Men’s Division. He has also served in executive-level roles in many of today’s leading Christian organizations such as The Navigators, Focus on the Family, Minirth Meier New Life Clinics and Saddleback Community Church.

Jeff is a licensed Vocational Counselor and completed his Post-Graduate Certification in Counseling from The Crabb Institute. He is also a Master Teacher with the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

As an author he has published more than fifty articles, seminars, and books including The Power of a Loving Man and a TILT: Small Shifts in Leadership that Make a Big Difference.

With his wife Nancy he has created the I Choose Us® marriage enrichment program that is rapidly growing in popularity in the southwest. Jeff and Nancy minister together in southern California where he serves as senior pastor for a vibrant growing church. He will spend approximately 1 to 2 hours per month on RAHT business, attending Board meetings, reviewing reports, and providing Board-level oversight.

 

Geri Swingle

Geri is a professional Life Coach, LifePlan Facilitator, Speaker, Women's Ministry Consultant and Instructor. She received her training and certifications from Life Purpose Coaching Centers, International.

Geri has over twenty years of experience in coaching/training roles, working with women of all ages. Before narrowing her focus to Life Coaching, she played the role of coach/trainer as an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer with her own business for over a decade. In this role, she helped women and couples realize their fitness goals by designing and implementing customized fitness programs. Because she worked with each client one-on-one in their homes, she was able to develop a relationship with them and often got beyond their fitness goals to minister to their spiritual needs.

During her tenure as a trainer, she also served as an advisory board member of a Christian jewelry company. Geri also held the position of Director of Prevention Education at the Crisis Pregnancy Center, in which she trained, coached and led a team of teens who spoke to their peers throughout the local school system on the benefits of abstinence before marriage.

Prior to that, she worked as a Peer Counselor at the Crisis Pregnancy Center. In this role, she coached and assisted young mothers-to-be with their functional and emotional needs during a critical time in their lives.

 

Ron Swingle

Ron is a professional Life Coach and LifePlan Facilitator. He received his training and certifications from Life Purpose Coaching Centers, International and The Tom Paterson Institute.

Ron is also a Management Consultant with over 25 years experience in spearheading strategic business initiatives. He possesses a unique combination of business and technical skills along with extensive experience in line, staff and consulting positions. Ron’s work has been the subject of 2 business research papers authored by Ernst & Young’s Center for Business Innovation: Managing a Portfolio of Change and Pioneer-Standard Electronics: A Profile in Organizational Change.

Some of Ron’s key accomplishments:

• Corporate Transformation: Directed all aspects of a $35M, enterprise-wide Business Transformation initiative at a $1.5B electronics and computer systems distribution company.

• Information Technology Consulting: Started and managed a new Information Technology consulting business within a $10B professional services firm. Grew this business rapidly, becoming the fastest office within the company’s history to reach profitability.

• “Big 5” Consulting: Five years experience managing and consulting at a Big 5 professional services firm.

Ron has also been active in using his consulting skills in various pro bono engagements with local churches. On one such engagement, he worked directly with the senior leadership team to “reinvent” the church, enabling it to experience significant growth in the local community.

Our Fund-Raising Standards

Truthfulness in Communications - No information will be false or deceptive, and there will be no omission of dates or other material facts, inclusion of misleading photographs, exaggeration, etc.

Communication and Donor Expectations - Fund raising appeals will not create unrealistic donor expectations regarding what will be accomplished with the gift.

Communication and Donor Intent - Statements made in fund raising appeals by the organization must by honored.  Any instructions given by the donor with the gift will be followed, or the gift will not be accepted.

Designated Contributions - Tax deductible gifts will not be used to pass money or benefits to any individual for private use.

Acting in the Interest of the Donor  - R@HT will at all times avoid accepting a donor's gift which would knowingly place a significant burden on the donor.

Projects Unrelated to the Organization's Purpose - Funds received that are not part of the organization's purpose will either be channeled through an organization that can accomplish the donor's intent or be returned to the donor.

Reporting - The organization will provide a report, including financial information, on the project for which it is soliciting funds.

Incentives and Premiums - Fund raising appeals which offer incentives or premiums in exchange for a donation will advise the donor of the fair market value of the incentive and inform the donor that the value is not deductible for tax purposes.

Conflict of Interest on Royalties - Officers may not receive royalties for any product used for promotional purposes by the officer's organization.

Financial Advice - When dealing with persons regarding commitments on major estate assets, the representative of R@HT will encourage donors to consider the interests of their families and ministries they support, as well as to use the services of their attorneys and financial advisors.
